Satin Checkerboard Basket Weave - Dark Goldenrod

Polyester satin in dark goldenrod. A heavyweight fabric comprised of satin strips woven in a checkerboard basket weave. It has a structured drape, opaque coverage, and no stretch. 

We recommend tracing your patterns onto the fabric with a basting stitch before cutting to prevent the woven satin strips from coming apart and compromising the integrity of the woven design of this fabric.

There is a non-woven white fusible interfacing on the reverse side of this fabric. This interfacing helps prevent the basket weave coming undone. The interfacing can be removed to make the fabric less structured, but we recommend only doing so once pattern pieces are assembled and edges have been finished with a bias binding or other tape.
