Metallic Coated Plisse Satin - Gold / Black

A fine, thin satin weave fabric woven with black polyester yarn, pleated into irregular folds running parallel to the warp grainline. The pleated fabric is then hot foil stamped with a gold metallic film. The foil stamping process leaves negative areas of the black satin underneath the folds of the pleats, giving the fabric a subtle black slubbed texture. This fabric is medium weight with a bouncy, heavy drape and smooth, slightly grainy handle, opaque with no stretch, but has some give in the weft direction due to the pleating.
