Chenille Yarn Float Checkerboard Twill - Black/White

A heavy weight, opaque twill weave  with a black and white checkerboard pattern. The white squares are interwoven with black yarn to create a marled / slubbed texture. The black squares feature a 7cm feathered Chenille ribbon yarn float, secured on the weft facing sides of the checkerboard squares. It has no give, minimal structured drape and soft, textured handle. Since this material is prone to catching (ie. on jewellery, zippers etc), we would suggest using button or hook closures for your designs.
