Pliage Creased Plisse Chiffon - Midnight Blue / White

A light weight, sheer, white chiffon with creased plisse texture, printed over with a dark navy blue ink, revealing the unmarked white chiffon underneath as the creases open and expand, similar to the "le pliage comme méthode" technique of artist Simon Hantaï. Great drape, crinkly textured handle, a lot of stretch in the weft direction due to the pleating and moderate stretch in warp direction. Use either side of this fabric (or both) as each side has a unique colour and texture.
