Cracked Paint Bonded Jersey - Pale Powder Blue

A polyester jersey knit fabric with a knit bonded fusible interfacing, coated on the technical face with a thick paint-like cracked film. The cracked paint surface does not peel or flake off, and does not stretch with the knit structure underneath - so when stretching the fabric, the crevasses between the paint cracks will expand larger and contract. The breathing movement of these paint cracks is best utilised in a fitted garment like a jacket or shorts, something that will bend, stretch and move under tension.

Heavy weight and thick with a very voluminous drape and holding some structure, opaque with a fissured, waxy handle, a low glossy appearance, good amount of mechanical stretch in the weft direction and no stretch in the warp direction.
