Butterfly Dreamscape Double Woven Jacquard - Metallic Gold / Black

A complex weave jacquard fabric with 3 distinct textile layers; a solid woven base, an organza surface and a layer of loose raffia-like metallic yarn floats between. Butterfly motifs repeat throughout the fabric, weaving through the 3 layers and anchoring them together. The butterflies alternate between gold and black (appearing as black if the are gold on the surface, and visa versa). The yarn float sparkles and waves underneath the organza, giving the fabric a dream-like, fantastical appearance unlike any typical jacquard.

Heavy weight with a voluminous drape and slight structure, opaque coverage with a coarse handle in the metallic areas, a muted metallic appearance with no give in either direction.
