Every thread begins with a choice — a decision between comfort and conscience, between beauty and purpose.
At Fabric Lab, wool is more than a fibre; it’s a conversation between nature, craftsmanship, and design. Our newest Limited Wool Collection celebrates this dialogue through carefully sourced materials and timeless textures that honour both the maker and the land.
A Fibre with Integrity
Wool has always embodied quiet luxury. Spun from nature’s rhythm, it breathes, insulates, and renews itself — a reminder that refinement can still be responsible. 100 % Australian Merino gives each fabric its incomparable softness and resilience, while our Italian design partners shape that raw material into fabrics of architectural precision and fluid grace.

Why Wool, Now
In a world of synthetics and speed, wool invites us to slow down. Its warmth carries memory; its drape carries intention. For designers, it’s a medium that listens — responding to every cut, fold, and seam with discipline and depth.
Whether tailored into a structured coat or sculpted into soft suiting, wool holds its form like a living material, evolving with wear rather than fading with time.
From the Studio
To understand what makes wool extraordinary, our team turned to experience. Nastia, one of our sales consultants and an RMIT University fashion graduate, explored the boundaries of wool in her final-year collection.
Her experiments with fulling and needle felting pushed the fibre beyond tradition — from woven textile to sculptural form. Over the coming weeks, she’ll take you inside that process, showing how centuries-old techniques can still surprise the modern maker.
A Limited Collection, A Lasting Craft
Our limited wool series embodies that same spirit of exploration — soft Australian Merino, refined Italian design, ethical production. Perfect for tailoring, coats, and timeless winter pieces, each fabric invites the touch and vision of the designer who will transform it next.
